身体的智能:・12.4尾声


在著名的小说《华尔街道士的告白》(Confessions ofa Taoist
on Wall Street
)中,David Payne讲述了一个小男孩SunI的故事。他出生在中国,他母亲是中国人,他父亲是美国战斗机飞行员。他的母亲在他出生时就去世了,而他的父亲也返回了他的美国老家;他一个人被留在了中国,他是在寺院中长大的。他的师傅是一个姓


吴的厨师,是他在照顾着SunI。寺院建在河边一块很高的岩石上。他们的日常杂务之一是要走过一条布满岩石的路去河边挑水。这个孩子记得当他们到达寺院的时候,他桶里的水都洒光了,而吴师傅的桶总是满的。下面是SunI的想法:这是真的。虽然吴师傅在险峻的台阶上行走的速度是我的两倍,但凭借超常的运气和技巧,他从来没有洒落一滴水。(我尝试着通过缓慢行走、提前规划路径和小心移动脚步来减少损失)。
